Ongoing projects - ES Energo Systems
1. SHPP Medos, 4,68 MW – Basic design, Final Design, Designer’s supervision
From summer 2017 on we are engaged on construction of SHPP Medos, river Drinjaca, Bosnia and Herzegovina, as a Designer’s supervision and control. For SHPP Medos ES Energo Systems have made Basic design, Tender for purchasing of the equipment and works and Final design.
This complex structure is composed of:
- dam with water catchment basin (dam height 20,75 m, lenghth of dam crown 61 m, 4 spilways with table type gates of 6,3 m length each, out of which one is supplied with clap, water catchment basin of 6,7 m width).
- water supplying concrete tunnel under pressure, lenght cca 1563 m, which is continued with a
- water supplying pipeline of length cca 60 m,
- mechanical building with 3 aggregates with rated power of 3 x 1,57 MW

2. HPP Bogatići Nova, 9,98 MW – Basic Design, Final Design
HPP Bogatici Nova has been constructed during 2017. and 2018. according to the Basic and Final designs made by ES Energo Systems d.o.o. Designs have been created in an extremely short time in 2016.
HPP Bogatici Nova has been built as a new hydro power plant on an existing object HPP Bogatici which dates from 1947. The old object had one supplying pipeline and two equal aggregates of total installed power of 8 MW. The new design foresaw reconstruction of water calming reservoir between the tunnel and the pipe line. Now, from water calming reservoir two pipelines are exiting – the old one and the new one till the completely new mechanical building. New mechanical building has two new aggregates, with increased rated power of 2 x 6,3 MVA, total 9,95 MW. One aggregate is being supplied from an old pipeline, while other is being supplied from new pipeline.
